Beacon would like to extend a huge THANK YOU to Mary McCann and Neil Pepe, owners of the Atlantic Theater, for generously donating the proceeds from the wonderful reading of God of Carnage on February 13. The event earned Beacon over $4200!
Beacon was joined by PS 3 families for a night of great theater and a celebration of student talent ranging from staged readings of two original plays by PS 3 third-graders (which were read by none other than Matthew Broderick, Cynthia Nixon, Christine Lahti, and Chris Bauer) to a performance of “Imagine” by our own B’DAT students, accompanied on guitar by a PS 3 parent. Thank you to Beacon’s Joanne Cimato for directing our talented B’DAT performers.
The evening garnered rave reviews from Beacon parents!
“The camaraderie and talent on stage was palpable. I was left speechless.”
